“Counter Information” was (and is) a free newsletter produced “by an independent collective, based in central Scotland, including Glasgow” that fights “against all injustice, oppression and exploitation” (see here and here). Some copies made it into South Africa by the 1990s: the issue below, number 25 (Nov/Dec/Jan 1989-1990) carried news of the anti-Poll Tax struggle in the UK, the revolts against the Marxist regimes in East Europe (and of the revival of anarchism there), among other issues. It was reprinted and distributed by anarchists in Johannesburg at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) around 1992. But without local contact details …
